So, less than 3 months to go and if I was prone to worry (rather than immune to it by now) the number of unresolved issues in the England camp might just be setting me off. Much of the selection debate over here has centered around Michael Vaughan returning as an opener or number 3. I’m not sure about it, especially as many people seem to want him in the team irrespective of club form. That was one thing when his captaincy outweighed indifferent performance with the bat, but the most we can expect this summer is an advisory role to Andrew Strauss, and if we’re going down that route we may as well bring back Mike Brearley.
