The IPL is rapidly drawing to a close and before you know it the World Twenty20 will be upon us, which means it’s time to compile an All-Stars XI from the league, based on performances to date.I’ve seen a number of comments dotted about cyberspace criticising the quality of the Indian players in the IPL this year, which is strange when you consider that Indians top just about every stats list including most runs, best batting strike rates, most wickets and best bowling economy rates.In fact, the All-Stars team could quite easily be made up exclusively of Indian players.
